I love glass, the colors, patterns, and the surprise of the look after it is fused. Glass is magic…It is a solid or a liquid. It can be slumped, painted, molded, or blown. I started fusing glass in the 1990s in classes with friends. I bought my first kiln at that time and, by 2010, converted my stables' tack and feed rooms into my glass studio. I now have three kilns.

The glass comes from wonderful companies that make vivid swirls of color or the depth of color in opaque glass. Because I am a wildlife lover, the patterns and colors in my glass designs are drawn from nature.

I am practical, so my designs are functional. We all need picture frames, dishes, bowls, and whimsical wall art.

When not fusing glass in my studio, you may find me hiking, kayaking, or walking my wonderful dog Jett Blac. Sitting with friends in Penns Creek with a glass of wine watching the sun go down provides our world's peace and beauty.
